After reading Selina Maitreya’s “How to Succeed as a Commercial Photographer,” and Tony Luna’s “How to Grow as a Photographer,” I emailed to thank them, and they emailed back. From there, the friendship grew. We have since met each other, and I have used Selina’s book as recommended reading to my Business of Photography students, and Tony Luna sent me his syllabus when I was starting to teach.

Wonderful things happen when we say thank you.
